Emotion Regulation in Action: Science-Based Strategies for Early Childhood

About
We are proud to offer in-person continuing education workshops designed specifically for Wisconsin early childhood professionals such as childcare providers and administrators.
In 2026, our workshops will focus on emotion regulation, a foundational skill for lifelong well-being. Providers will explore how young children learn to manage big feelings, practice co-regulation strategies for use in the classroom, and discover ways to engage families to support emotions at home.
These workshops are designed to be accessible, affordable, and relevant. They are provided by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Extension in partnership with the Child Care Resource and Referral Network.
